Sutherland Shire bush fire area renovation

BEFORE

Before
Before

The home was built in the 1960s and was structurally sound but in need of a full renovation as it had not been maintained.

As you can see the roof needed renovating, the gutters were rusted out , the facia rotting as were the windows and the fibro cladding was busted and cracked.
Fire rating was very important as it was in a bush fire area, and a non- flammable material was required.

NOTE: Palliside is Australian made, will not burn as it will not support combustion and has a nil ignition rating as per Australian Standard AS 1503.3 ( in Red).

No more worrying about bushfires as all Australian made materials were used in all renovations Peter Bracey undertakes. The roof was renovated using NU-Tech 2000 roof membranes system with a 10 year warranty.

New colorbond gutter, downpipes and fascia cover were installed.
The eaves were clad in Hampton style eave sheeting.
The walls were clad in non-flammable Palliside maintenance free UPVC weatherboards.
The windows changed to aluminium, note the external architrave, so they do not look like a caravan window.

A new Lysaughts colorbond flat-deck patio was installed to match the Hampton eave..
